With Halloween approaching in Tree Hill, Brooke and Julian receive a visit from someone unexpected. Nathan kicks off a new career, and Quinn and Clay have trouble adjusting to life at the beach house. Haley and Mia host an open mic night at Tric.

Quinn continues to have nightmares. She dreams that Clay and Sarah are zombies and Brooke jumps in to save her life. When she wakes up from her nightmares, it is hard to distinguish what was part of the dream and what is reality.

Julian's mom, Sylvia, appears at Brooke's door. Brooke initially gives Sylvia attitude before learning who she is. Julian, Sylvia, and Brooke go out to lunch. Sylvia tells Brooke that she is high maintenance, then to Brooke's surprise, she offers to pay for the entire wedding.

Millicent shows up at the Halloween party at Tric dressed as Lady Gaga. She was really excited to see Mouth, but she shot him down when he reminds her that things between them are not serious. She picks up another man at the party to get back at Mouth.
