Now that Jordan Chase is onto Dexter and Lumen, Dexter sends Harrison to stay with Rita's parents' to protect him, and Lumen moves in. Dexter and Lumen go and visit Emily, the women who's blood is in the vile worn around Chase's neck. She knows some information but will not give it up.
Dexter and Lumen know the truth about the barrel girls' case. The team goes over to Cole's where they discover DVD's showing each victim's murder. Dexter plants a broken DVD for Lumen's. Deb is starting to connect the dots and is coming closer and closer to the truth. They bring Chase in for questioning. Chase tells Dexter that Lumen shouldn't be trusted...
Quinn and Deb go to question Alex. He freaks out when they ask him about Cole. Chase tells Alex to go home and act normal, knowing that Dexter and Lumen are planning to murder him. Chase tips off Deb who Alex's place so they can catch Lumen and Dexter in the act. But it turns out that the room they were prepping for the kill is in a different room in the building. Lumen kills Alex while Dexter watches. Deb and Quinn spot a female footprint right outside. She suspects that the 13th victim is still alive and is going around killing the guys. Back at Dexter's, him and Lumen end up in bed together.
