Many suffer for fashion, but none quite so spectacularly as Lady Gaga did last night. The Born This Way singer might need to give the high heels a break for a while, after she fell flat on her back jumping off a piano in towering heels.
LADY GAGA STYLE HIGHS AND LOWS
Known for her theatrical performances, the singer's accident came as she was performing hit song, You and I, during her Monster’s Ball tour in Houston.
She jumped from her piano in the middle of the song, but accidentally kicked the stool she was attempting to land on, instead ending up on the floor. Her knickers-and-bra ensemble certainly did little to cushion the blow.
Yet, she rose to her feet, and didn’t even miss a beat – finishing the song.
One fan, Eric Souknary, managed to film the whole thing: ‘She was really high up and it looked really bad. I only just managed to keep the video steady.
'The crowd all saw it and I don't think anyone would have minded is she'd walked off the stage to get checked out by medics.
'But she was a real professional and jumped back up on stage to finish her set in front of the fans. It was really amazing to see.'
The singer has revived her YouTube channel GagaVision this weekend, showing footage from behind-the-scenes of her tour, as well as a sneak preview of new single Judas.
‘Judas is coming. Let the cultural baptism begin,’ she says in typical Gaga dead pan.
Lady Gaga falls off flaming piano
Lady Gaga keeps her poker face after slipping on stage in front of thousands of fans.
The singer, wearing knee high stilletto boots, was standing atop a piano with one foot on a stool vigorously strumming an air guitar when she slipped.
Despite ending up on her back on the floor, Gaga, continued performing her song You And I to a packed concert hall in Houston, Texas.
A video of the incident was captured by fan Eric Souknary, 18.
"It was in the middle of the show. She was really high up and it looked really bad," he said.
"I only just managed to keep the video steady. The crowd all saw it and I don't think anyone would have minded is she'd walked off the stage to get checked out by medics.
