The Office of Special Projects (OSP) is a clandestine division of NCIS and is located in Los Angeles, California. They go deep undercover to capture criminals that are threatening national security. The team includes G Callen, the chameleon, Sam Hanna, Callen's partner and a surveillance expert;… More Kensi Blye, the adrenalin junkie and Nate Getz, the Psychologist to help the team with the mission and their own mental health. Also assisting the team is Dominic Vail, a new member that needs to learn how to put his knowledge to use and Henrietta "Hetty" Lange, the Operational Manager, who not only manages the money and material assets, but the team itself. They have access to the latest technological developments and they do whatever is necessary to get the job done.

“Little Angels” Season 2 Episode 5 – A commander goes missing and the team is sent to investigate but what they find is the commander looking for his daughter. He hasn’t seen her since the night before when they had a fight about a boy. When they get a video of the girl being kidnapped and buried alive, it sets off painful memories for Sam. The case falls out of their jurisdiction, but he wants to continue looking to repay a debt to the partner who gave his life in that hole, so Sam could live to save another life someday.

The details of the kidnapping matches another murderer who was put away by the FBI, making it look like they have a copycat killer on their hands. Then they get some evidence that leads to the original kidnapper’s brother and soon it’s brother against brother as each one tries to say that it’s the other who is guilty of the crime. In the end they find that the sons of the innocent brother had too many visits with their uncle. They decided to try killing for themselves, taking his advice to bury the victims so that “the feeling would last for days”. The team finds them and they lead to the location where the girl is buried, allowing Sam to pull her out just in time and fulfill his promise.
